Tasty Fried Potatoes with Vegan Hot Dogs for kids

by Tatianna Yougottalove

Today, I made a large quantity of Crispy Fried Potatoes for breakfast for my 3 boys that are homeshooled. I always feel that one of the hobbies common to all the boys is to eat as often as possible! This easy homemade recipe can be made in large portion and you can be certain of the fact that there will be no leftovers!

I really recommend this dish for kids because it’s a mix of potatoes and hot dogs, which they love! My boys definitely loved it, Richard and I enjoyed it too.

The ingredients you’ll need:
Potatoes
Whole mushrooms
Green onions
White onion
Vegan and gluten free hot dogs
Himalayan salt
Pinch of s pepper
Paprika
Garlic powder

Fry until it turns golden brown in colour :
10 potatoes, cut into strips as fries
10 to 12 whole mushrooms, chopped
1 white onion, diced
1 pack of vegan hot dogs, diced

5 minutes before turning it off add
3 to 4 green onions, diced

Move into a big bowl and add the next spices:
1 tsp Himalayan salt
Pinch of s pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder

Mix and serve.

Note:
*I fried the potatoes separately from the vegetables, because they get a little mushy if it’s mixed with mushrooms and onions. Sometimes I fry them with the rest of the vegetables, so it depends on you how you want to do it.

*If you want to add a touch of sweetness into this dish for your kids grate a few tomatoes and fry them with the vegetables.
