How I organized my gluten free flours

by Tatianna Yougottalove

As someone who cooks and eats gluten free recipes, I require a wide variety of gluten free flours. I struggled for a long time with how to organize the flours and keep my kitchen clean.

I tried in bags, didn’t work for me. The bags were messy, uncomfortable and hard to keep tidy.

I tried in jars, it was a little better but still not what I wanted.

Then I got an idea, containers.

I had the idea to put the flour in large, rectangular containers. I wanted to use plastic since it’s lightweight, easier to use, and cheaper.

I looked in a few kitchen stores for a specific size of container that I had in my vision and at the end I found it.

I love my new containers! They’re easy and ready to be used.

It’s comfortable and my kitchen counter always stays clean.

My new containers are 13” long, 9.5” wide and 3” deep. The lids are on the top so any size measuring cup can be used without spilling and making a mess. The containers that I found are Rubbermaid and work really well!
