Today, I would like to share with you a new Pattie recipe which is vegan and Gluten-free.
It has a sweet and filling from inside and crispy from outside, Serve it with your cooked grain/seed such as Rice, Bulgur, Buckwheat or enjoy it in a sandwich. You can also enjoy it like a homemade burger.
Ingredients you’ll need:
Navy Beans
Red onions
Brussels sprouts
Tomato paste
Spices:
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Paprika
Turmeric
Potato starch
Chia seeds
Instructions:
2½ cups cooked navy beans, process in a food processor or Ninja, poles a few times.
Fry on high for about 10 minutes:
1 cup diced red onions
1 cup sliced Brussels sprouts, cut in half and then sliced
After 10 minutes add:
½ tsp salt
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp turmeric
¼ cup potato starch
2 tbsp ground chia seeds
1 can tomato paste
1\2 cup water
Mix all the ingredients and add processed beans.
Mix again well and shape into burgers/patties.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Would a ground flax seed instead of ground chia work? I can’t do too much chia cause of oxalate counts.
