Yellow rice with corn

How to make sweet delicious yellow rice HEALTHY!
This is an amazing yellow turmeric rice with corn dish is a favourite in our household.
Such an easy dinner idea for the whole family. Its vegan so no eggs or meat in it and full of delicious healthy ingredients.
A great vegetarian rice main dish for the family or for entertaining guests, its very satisfying. Enjoy!


In a pot or a big pan fry on medium-high heat:
1 cup corn
2 onions, diced
8 garlic cloves, chopped
Fry until golden then add:
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Mix well and add washed and strained
2 cups rice
Mix well again and add:
3½ cups water
Cover with lid and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Then lower the heat and let it cook for about 30 minutes.
Serve while warm.
