I couldn’t believe how good it turned out, it was like fresh bread from a bakery. It was crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. We enjoyed it thoroughly and finished everything in one sitting. Warning! This bread may be very addictive.
The ingredients you’ll need:
Vegan vanilla yogourt
Vegan butter
Yeast
Cane sugar
All purpose flour
Pumpkin
Spices
In a bowl add:
½ cup water
⅓ cup vegan vanilla yogourt
¼ cup vegan butter
¼ cup cane sugar
Mix well then add:
1 tsp yeast
Mix again then add:
1½ cup streamed & blended pumpkin
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper
Mix all together, add:
3¼ cups all purpose flour
Mix & knead
Cover and let it rise for around 30 minutes.
Cut in half and make 2 braided bread as shown in the video.
Cover and let it rise around 30 minutes.
When ready brush with vegan butter & sprinkle with sesame, poppy or chia seeds.
Preheat at 350 and bake around 40 minutes.
