Yellow Basmati Rice With Plant Based Protein

4-6 servings!

Quick dinner for my 4 men.

Before starting, soak 2 cups soy Chuncks and set aside.

Rice:
Fry on medium or high heat:
2 onions, diced
3 carrots, sliced
1 cup corn
1 cup peas
Fry until golden or to your liking
Then add spices:
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp curry
1 vegetable bullion
Fry for another 5 minuses, then add
2 cups rice (washed & strained)
3 cups water
Mix well, cover with lid and let it boil for 5 minutes, then lower the heat and let it cook for 20-30 minutes.

While the rice is cooking, Fry:
1 pack tempeh, chopped into small squares
Squeeze the water out of the soy chunks and add into a pan.
Fry until golden then add:
½ cup coconut aminos
Fry until there is no more liquid, turn off the heat, then add:
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Mix well, and it’s ready.
The result is, deliciousness.

These 2 Ingredients combined with soy Chuncks were amazing, my men loved it.
