Ground Patties In Sauce + Rice Recipe | Full Family Meal #2

This amazing & delicious recipe is great to make for the whole family.
I love making recipes that are simple and quick to prepare.
When I made this dish I had a friend coming over for a visit.
She said it’s so delicious, she wanted to know how I made it, and what ingredients I used for it.

The ingredients you’ll need:
Vegan grounds
Tomatoes
Onions
Garlic cloves
Sweet potatoes
Tomato paste
Spices
Potato
Carrot
Jasmine rice
Mushrooms
Peas
Vegetable bouillon cube

Tomato sauce:
Before you start, soak in boiled water
6 tomatoes that are cut on the bottom, make an X with a knife

In a deep pan or pot
6 small onions, cut in half and sliced
6 garlic cloves, diced
Half sweet potato, grated
Fry until browned, then add
Peeled & diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
Spices such as:
1 teaspoon salt
ΒΌ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tbsp dry parsley
1 tablespoon dried dill
Mix everything well, cover with lid and cook on medium heat.
Note: while the onions, garlic & sweet potatoes were frying for the sauce, I started dicing onions and grating potato and sweet potato for the patties (as you can see in the video)

Meatless meatballs:
In a bowl add
1 pack vegan grounds, I used Beyond Meat brand, it’s also gluten free
1 grated potato
1 grated carrot
1 diced onion
Note: You can spice it if you want, but for me the vegan grounds are salty and flavorful, and to add spices in the sauce is enough.

When the patties are ready, lower the heat of the tomato sauce and place the patties inside & cover with tomato sauce.
Cover with lid and cook on lower heat for about 20-30 minutes.

For rice:
Fry in a pot for 5 minutes
Whole cremini mushrooms, 227 grams, sliced
1 cup frozen peas
Then add:
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons dried chopped onions
ΒΌ teaspoon pepper
1 vegetable bouillon cube
And fry for another 5 minutes
Mix and add:
2Β½ cups washed & strained rice
Mix together and then add
3 cups of water
Cover with lid, bring to a boil and cook for around 20-30 minutes.
