Cauliflower Curry + Kasha Buckwheat | Full Family Meal #1

by Tatianna Yougottalove

We are family of 5, and my boys can eat all day long 😅.
When I made this curry and buckwheat, I also made crispy scallion bread for them, so when they asked for more of the curry & buckwheat dish I was really surprised, because it’s not their go-to, and on top of that they asked for seconds 😳
Because it was a great success in my house for my 3 boys, I decided to make it as a kids dish too.

Fry on high heat until browned
One head of cauliflower separated into individual florets (curd), including the stems
1½ cup peas
When browned add
1 can of coconut milk
3-4 tbsp tomato paste
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 cup water
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tbsp dry chopped onions
Cook for 10 – 15 and serve with buckwheat.

Fry on pot/pan, until browned – I did it in my pan

3 diced onions
3 garlic cloves cut in half
While it’s frying take
1½ cup of buckwheat, and make sure there aren’t any black pieces, wash, strain and add into pot/pan.
Add spices on top
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
Mix all well then add
2 cups of water
Mix again well, lower the heat and cook for 20 -30 minutes.
