This is the most easy, quick and very creamy delicious Mac and Cheese I made for my boys. I made it so many times, and this time it came out better than any other time. So I made sure to write down the quantity and share it with you.
My boys love this dish, and they were surprised that I didn’t add any vegan cheese into it (they were sure I did ). Sometimes I add into this cheesy macaroni a few cups of soy chunks, goes well with this creamy sauce.
The ingredients you’ll need:
Gluten-free macaroni
Vegan mayo
Nutritional yeast
Salt & pepper
Garlic & onion powder
Oil
Instructions:
Boil water in a pot, when ready add
1 pack of macaroni, 454g – mine is gluten-free
Mix occasionally & cook for about 15 to 20 minutes or follow the instructions on the package ( I never do )
When ready, strain the macaroni and then place it back into the same pot, lower the heat and add the next ingredients
Mayo – ¾ cup
Nutritional yeast – ½ cup
Salt – 1 tsp
Pepper – ¼ tsp
Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Onion powder – ½ tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mix well and turn off the heat.
Best to serve while still warm.
Sprinkle more nutritional yeast on top if desired.
