One Of The Best Desserts I Ever Baked – Cinnamon Rolls / Buns 😋

by Tatianna Yougottalove

I made this amazing dessert for our guests.
They aren’t vegan and it was very hard for them to believe that it’s made without cows milk or eggs.
It was so good that I decided to make something similar with chocolate hazelnut spread.

Both are great successes and very addictive, so be warned.
The ingredients you’ll need:
Milk
Yeast
Sugar
Vegan butter
Baking powder
All purpose flour
Cinnamon
Vegan cream cheese
Plant based milk
Vanilla extract
Icing sugar

Dough:

In a pot:
1 cup milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup butter
Warm it up, don’t over heat it.
Pour into a bowl and then add:
1 tsp yeast
Let it activate (1-2 minutes) and then continue to add:
2¾ cups all purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
Mix well then knead, cover and set aside, and start making the filing.

Filling:
In a bowl add:
⅓ cup sugar
⅓ cup butter, room temperature
1 tbsp cinnamon
Mix very well

Flour your surface of work and spread out your dough.
Flour the top of the dough, knead for a few minutes and flatten it with a roller into a flat big round circle, don’t make it thin.

Spread the filing on top of the dough, roll it & cut into 8-10 pieces.

Place them in a baking pan, cover & let it rise for about 15-30 minutes.

Preheat your oven at 350 and bake for about 20 minutes, or until you can see the top is browned.

Let it cool down and pour the frosting on top.

Frosting:

In a blender blend all the ingredients:
¼ cup cream cheese
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp plant based milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup icing sugar

Once I made them very small, into 13 – 16 pieces, it was amazing & beautiful.
So you have option here, depends on you, which size would you like.
