This is a perfect rice potato recipe so easy, quick & simple to make!
My men loved it, I Loved it! LoL 😆
This recipe is perfect for kids and in my opinion even for guests, it is that good!
I like the bottom crunchy, as you can see it in the video & picture!
Especially Richard, he loves it.
This is the reason for frying the potatoes first thing.
The ingredients you’ll need:
Potatoes
Rice
Spices
Start frying
4 potatoes, diced
Sprinkle on top salt & pepper
While it’s frying, in a bowl wash & strain:
3 cups of rice
Then add:
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 vegetables cubes
1 medium onion, diced (mine was half of a large one)
1 cup boiling water
Mix well until the cubes are dissolved.
Then add the rice on top of fried potatoes, even it out and add:
4 potatoes, diced
Sprinkle on top salt & pepper
Then add:
2½ cups of water
Cover with lid and cook it on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, then lower the heat & cook for around 20-30 minutes.
