So easy to prepare and delicious!
Quinoa is a flowering plant in the amaranth family. The seeds are rich in protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins, and dietary minerals in amounts greater than in many grains.
Quinoa is a grain that I like to add and serve with fried vegetables.
This time I served it with juicy salad. For me & Richard I sprinkle cayenne pepper on top, yum.
In a pot:
1½ cups quinoa, washed & strained
1 cup water
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp onion powder
Bring to boil for a few minutes, then cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes.
Serve with a salad or fried vegetables.
